I do at least one set of lateral raises every shoulder workout and have been trying to add weight, but my shoulder makes noises that concern me. I can do 10's to 20 reps and I can lift 15's with relatively little trouble, but my shoulder starts popping like a bowling ball rolling over bubble wrap on the concentric movement. It's less noticeable, but still present on the lighter weight. Is this common? It doesn't really hurt, but it's terribly unnerving. Don't want to end up injured.
