Shoulder joint pain from weighted dips and pull ups

Hi all,

I recently started doing weighted dips and weighted pull ups (+20kg) and one morning I woke up with very sharp pain behind my front, middle and rear delts in my shoulder joint. The pain is under the muscle and also in the middle of my right shoulder blade. The pain lasted for a few days ten went away so I started training again EOD very light e.g. push ups etc without any pain.

Approx 2 weeks later with lots of rest the pain has returned yet again just as severe. I have had muscle pain from training so I know its not that. When I do train, with above head movements, heavy or light weights there is no pain, its only at rest the next day or hours after training. The pain is not to severe it is just sharp like I am being stabbed with a needles.

Has anybody ever had this injury from weighted dips?? and any ideas as to what it could be and when to seek medical advice??

Don't scare the guy.. Just get it checked out before you really fuck it up. Your probably border line from screwing up your shoulder completely..
