Shin Splints

As Steve said quality shoes, fitted by experts at them stores that use computers hooked up to platforms. In Australia it's athletes foot. Also once I started wearing skins compression socks, I don't get them as bad and sometimes not at all. Well worth the investment.

^^^ yep.

its a good idea to get fitted properly the first time.. and then from there you will know what works.. half an inch too large or too small and you are gonna be in trouble.. a lot of cheaper places will fit you and tell you to wear the size they have in stock cause the dudes just want the sale.. so make sure you go to a legit place..

for me I only wear nikes and they have to have no plastic to run in... they have to be just fabric. you want to have good support to take the trauma off your legs.

I guarantee i need new shoes, the top where my big toe is even has a hole worn through the top

if you can twist the bottom of the shoe then you need to go ahead and donate them.. they are done.

when i was running 40-45 miles a week i was having to get new shoes about every 2 months. also it depends on the conditions you are running in.. if you run outdoors and have to dry them out a lot then they will wear quicker obviously vs. running indoors.

also never leave them in your hot car and never use the dryer to dry them .

also don't expect to get much out of $15 walmart shoes.

Hey Steve have you tried the free runs from nike ? I heard there pretty good. Also the skins compression socks are awesome for recovery when doing calves.
