Rush Limbaugh busted for illegal drugs again. So much for morals...

Let me give you some real world example here. My brother once shot a man for breaking into his home. He was investigated, but CLEARED of doing anything wrong. He was put on administrative leave from his high security job here in Washington DC while the incident was investigated. The investigation was routine and did not presume guilt.

Point is Captain Clueless that it's their duty to follow-up to verify his story. Nothing more nothing less.

Who gives a shit what your brother did? What has that got to do with this thread topic? From the way you are all on my balls, I bet you give you a mean blow job.

Ok brohaim. Im sure once reality proves you incorrect once more you'll just move on to the next on a long line of failed assertions. No doubt a month from now you'll be claiming you never said that.

As to the rest I'm in my 30's, not my fifties. Maybe I'll find it interesting in 20 or so years.

Who said anything about age? Or did you find it significant to point that out for some reason????

Unlike you, I don't have a problem remembering things I said. Your credibility would improve if you could do the same.

The truly whacked part is we're talking about viagra here. Not heroin, not coke, not morphine, but viagra. Any adult in America can LEGALLY obtain a prescription for viagra.

The bozo who started this non issue thread used hyperbole such as "busted" "illegal" and "again"...which Captain Clueless in his RUSH to condemn RUSH totally missed, then he starts this spin to justify his ridiculous false sense of outrage.

Bottom line Rush had viagra, doctor prescribed it, for privacy issues he used his name. The doctor could of given Rush samples of Viagra, but made a decision to do it this way.

No big deal
This post sums it up nicely.

A physician can hand you medication to take. He has no legal responsibility to put his name, your name, or anyone elses name on it. It's how samples work. Its also how physicians dispense private stores of their own medications. A very high end GP often doesn't just send you into Wal-Mart with a piece of paper, but rather hands you what you need on the spot.

Our family uses a GP who we've known for years who we trust completely. For example, when I started physician-approved HRT, this guy does all my physicals and serves as an independent source for interpreting my bloodwork. I get the drugs shipped-in from three states away because 1) I do want my name on the vials for when I travel and 2) I don't want a pharmacy in my hometown seeing my name pop up on a prescription that includes "steroids". If the pharmacy three states away stops issuing them, I'd probably have the family doctor do it but he sure as to hell wouldn't have him do it using my name. He'd use *his* name and then hand me the vials in his office.

^^ nice.... if only it were a sample your arguement would ring true.... since it wasn't.... keep trying.

Legally there is zero difference between a sample of a drug and a bottle or vial of the same drug that the physician keeps in his office. He can hand you a sample. He can hand you a bottle from his shelf. Legally there is no difference.

Obviously Rush's physician didn't want him standing in line at Wal-Mart with a script that has "VIAGRA" written all over it. Surely even a liberal can see why any public figure might not want that to happen.

Why would a doctor mislabel a med with someone else's name? Even his own? That certainly flies in the face of conventional standards and malpractice insurance guidelines.
Why would he do this? He's a doctor feelgood who knows how to get the stars their drugs on the down low. Come on, why not put the correct name on them? Rush has a problem and can't face it in the public now because he is so unforgiving and hateful to everyone else's shortcomings. The guy is just mean to everyone. Now where is he going to find empathy for his own shortcomings?

No matter what you say, it is quite easy to conclude that was not a sample by any means. I realize you desperately want to use this excuse in an effort to protect your hero, but it isn't going to fly. Samples doesn't have a name on it, let alone two different ones.

I can understand the need to protect your hero out of self insecurities, but find it comical at the least.

Multiple divorcee with a drug problem who can't hear and his dick doesn't work. Talk about Mother Nature handing out karma with a vengence.

Where did I say he had samples? I was trying to link something you have had experience with (a physician handing you a sample) with something that I assumed you hadn't had experience with (a physician using his name or private stores of medication to protect your anonymity).

It would appear my assumption was correct. It makes sense that your GP wouldn't have said "Hey AAP since you are a public figure let's get you a bottle of Viagra that isn't linked to you at the pharmacy." I do, however, think you've had samples thrown at you which didn't have your name.

Is that the missing link in why you keep coming back to "not a sample by any means"?
