Greetings,
I am a moderator at triedia.com, and I have noticed a disturbing trend on this board. Firstly, for those of you who do not know triedia now has new mods, closed the open source forum, and has cleaned up the board in every way conceivable, all this and we still do not charge for any of our services, nor are there aggravating pop-ups.
But those are collateral issues, and not the one I wish to address. In performing a search using triedia as a criteria it has come to my attention that triedia is bashed and defamed regularly by some members here, and most disturbing by some mods here. Now I can not change your feelings towards our board, nor can I persuade you to visit the board and see the changes we have made, but I can say it is discourteous to have the mods here disparaging another board.
Now we have many members who hate elite, and I put a stop to most of the elite bashing, and even banned some who would mock another board, its the courtesy I and the other mods at triedia have extended to your board and your members. Also, you will not be able to find a post where any of our mods engage in elite bashing, its not tolerated, its not professional, and its disrespectful.
One last issue I wish to address is that triedia generates more federal heat than any other board. Now, that is nonsense. All of these boards carry a certain amount of government scrutiny, especially elite. On that note again, the open source board is no longer, which would have been a source for scrutiny.
All I am asking is for some mutual respect between the boards, I think triedia has given respect, at least the moderators and admin have, perhaps you can do the same. And before you bash and ridicule the board take some time to visit and see the changes that have been made. Also, do not be naive to think that Feds are more interested in one board over another, in fact if this were true, elite would probably be the hottest board out there. Thanks for the time and space.
