I have recently started using them to activate my glutes and hips and I get really well warmed up for squats and running and other activities. Highly recommended!
 
i use bands to help me stretch and for mobility

the biggest mistake weight trainers make is not keeping mobility intheir joints, especially shoulders. it contributed to my shoulder injury a few years ago

I started incorporating more band/chains into my training programs lately. They provide a unique stimulus to the muscle and it's good to mix things up! Keeps things interesting
