Rep Range on Face Pulls

Ive noticed that many of you do upwards of 20 rep sets for face pulls and therefore thats what ive been doing also.

Do you perform this exercise with light weight and high reps for a certain reason?
or is this purely done because it is harder to stand rigid during the exercise when the weight grows larger in comparison to your body weight??

I do them heavy and low rep on some days, and lighter for speed on others. Sometimes I superset them with kelso shrugs heavy, and with that I just go to the 12-15 range or until I'm bored. ;)

I just do them to do them...I try to add weight or band tension whenever I can. Sometimes I will go as heavy as 10 reps...but mostly 12-30 reps. I, personally, have a hard time just using my rear delts on them if I go too heavy. That is just me though..

3-5 sets of 10-12.

I change weight or rep range if I dont feel it in my rear delts. I also rotate between pulling from above my shoulders and pulling from below my shoulders.

You ever notice how some of the strongest/biggest guys in here are the least anal about their training? They don't stress out over numbers, they just work.

work ethic is good....if someone goes balls out all the time for weight then i guess they wont fuss about previous weights/reps.

some people save room for the next set though.....

i dont.

Same here...I usually use whatever the others have left on the machine unless it is noticeably too light. And do reps until I lose count or get bored.
