Raw or Living Food Diet. Neep Input.

I'm intruiged by the raw food diet. I have been reading that people who follow this diet never worry about how many calories they consume and never get sick. (Colds and such) I looked at some of the recipes and they even sound good. A mixture of ingredients that I would have never thought to put together. Plus - consuming raw food makes your body work harder to digest it.

I'm not a vegitarian and probably never will be. I'm just looking at ways to enhance my diet & my body. Any input - pro or con - is welcome.

There are smart ides in this diet and it's certainly helathier than the processed food diet of the average Joe

IMO, there are 2 majors cons :

It's not convenient

It's difficult to meet a lifter specific needs while on such a diet

I agree - it is lacking in the protein to build muscle, unless you really like sushi and sashimi (sp?).

Also - most of the recipes I've seen call for 12 hours or more of preperation. Not exactly your spur of the moment dinner. I don't think I'm that good of planner.

I've been thinking of adding something like this into my diet one or two meals a week.
