Ok, so a few weeks ago I stopped doing ckd/atkins diet because I like to run distances. (3+ miles). The minute I went off I gained like 15 lbs. super quick, just eating veggies and fruit as carbs. So, how would I lose the weight gained plus a little bit more just to be a little healthier. Any advice would be appreciated.

What's wrong with a CKD and running distances??

When you say you gained the weight "super quick" - how fast are we talking?

You don't give us much data as to how quick is quick, but I can tell you at least half of that is water. Water gain is inevitable when introducing carbs back into your diet after you've been doing an extended ketogenic diet. I really wish people understood this much when they attempted these diets so they'd know what is gonna happen. Huge weight initial weight loss during the first week or two, then a good chuck of that initial weight returns the instant you eat carbs again.

Water.

Now 15 pounds I'm guessing some of that is fat and perhaps even some LBM though I have no clue if you're working out or not. At any rate you don't have to do a keto diet to lose the weight you want to lose. You'd lose probably 8 pounds the first week if you went back on it and of course it'd come right back if you ate carbs again. Just take a few hours and scour the diet board for information. If you find a thread that says you can't lose fat eating carbs then stop reading and move on, or at least disregard the people that are wearing blinders and arguing that point.

If you want a long term weight loss solution then you need to make a lifestyle change and understand what kinds of foods you can eat and in what amounts. Don't rely on short term extreme diets to get to your goal then expect to stay there going back to your previous diet.

Did you gradually reintroduce carbs into your diet? If not, you will gain it back quicker. I think it`s like 25grams of carbs a week untill you get to the desired amount.

By "super quick" I meant in about 2 weeks. Yeah, I'm guessing that some of this was water, but it is still discouraging. I did continue to work out throughout the ckd and after when I started reintroducing carbs. I lift about three times a week and run at least six times. I found that on the ckd I felt light headed after working out and I often wouldn't have the energy to continue running the amount I would like to. Maybe I wasn't eating enough fat, but that is another reason I stopped the ckd.

maybe you just need to take a good poop.

no, really maybe its the scales, I put mine in the closet b/c my weight was fluctuating 6 pounds between morning and evening.
