Psychedout's food journal... Starting 0ct25/04

I have really been taking a hit in eating lately.

I get my protien everday -- 300grams, no prob at all.

Cals are a bit of a problem though. Nearing 5500-6000 day. Way too much for being 200pds.

I am eating way too much, and way too many junk calories. I am hoping this will make me smartin up in my ways -- afterall, I would feel guilty posting the shit I have been eating lately on here.

So come tomorow, its a new ballgame. Wish me luck.
 
Buenos suerte, amigo! Shit I am starting my journal at the same time. What are your stats? I have been eating the same way lately and I am looking to shed massive fat. I am 6'2'', weigh 225, and have bf in the range of 15-20%. I look forward to seeing your progess, hopefully it will help keep me on track. :bigbuck:

1) 1 Cup oats
3 scoops whey
CPF: 63 60 8

2) 2 serving brown rice
300 gram chicken breast
CPF: 80 60 5

3) 2 serving brown rice
300 gram chicken breast
CPF: 80 60 5

4) Tuna on low carb bread
w/ 2 tbsp ketchup
CPF: 57 53 8

5) 2scoops whey
1/3 cup almonds
CPF: 10 51 28

6) 1 cup cottage cheese
2 cups garden green peas
CPF: 20 36 2

7) 1 cup cottage cheese
1/3 cup almonds
CPF: 10 46 28

Totals:
Carb 320
Pro 366
Fat 83

Daily activity: 25 mins of skipping rope, no weights

Thoughts: Pretty clean day all in all. Off to a good start. :)
 
Looks good, bro. Are you going for the balanced diet, instead say low-carb? That is what I am doing, I can't function during the day or workout well if I don't eat any carbs.

LoL. Then you must be missing something. That is 320.


BlondBomber, my goal isn't really to cut right now -- just to clean things up and see what happens. Ill probably diet for 4-5 weeks before Christmas, but for now, this is what I go with.

IMO, you could get away with 200-250 carbs/day while cutting, as long as they are very clean -- oats, brown rice, veggies... no bread, pasta, fruit...
 
Ok....well, your servings of rice must be quit large to yield that man carbs and your low carb bread consumption is +50grams????? Cmon.......are you eating a loaf? Reg. bread has what, 25g? I thought low carb was sub 5g.........
 
Jkurz, I had 3 tuna sandwiches, at 7 carbs per slice. One serving of rice has 40 carbs. So yeah, it all adds up.

Oct 26/04 Today is largely similar to yesterday, but I guess you gotta eat the same stuff day in and day out.

1) 1 Cup oats
3 scoops whey
CPF: 63 60 8

2) 2 serving brown rice

5)2 servings brown rice
1 rommain lettuce head
250gr chicken breast
CPF: 90 50 6

6) 2 scoops whey
1/3 cup almonds
CPF: 10 50 28

7) 1 can tuna
1/3 cup almonds
CPF: 10 42 28


Totals:
Carb 389
Pro 342
Fat 85

Cals 3689

Thoughts: Pleased with myself today. Had to have a can of diet coke to satisfy myself, but good day all in all.
 
ok........what were your goals again?? Hopefully, not trying to cut on this diet, right? When do u train? Cardio?
