Pre and Post workout. Lets talk nutrition, around 1hr before and after.

I have started to diet down, here's what I am eating..I know it's more than 1hr before and 1hr after Mavy I'm not trying to hijack your thread(good thread at that) just thought I would get your guys input. Started at 243, 2 weeks later 231, day 18 229.4

6:00 AM 3/4 c. oatmeal, 8 egg whites, 1tb flax
7:30 AM 2 scoops whey
8:00 Train
9:00 AM 1 scoop MM Full Blown, 2 scoops whey, 2 cups oj 1000mg Vit C
10:00 AM 8 oz London Broil, 10 oz sweet potato, broccoli,
12:00 PM 8 oz chicken, 8oz yam, broccoli
2:30 PM 8 oz turkey, 1/4c. brown rice, broccoli
5:00 PM 6 oz chicken, 1/4c. brown rice, broccoli
8:00 PM 6 oz London Broil, broccoli, 1 tb flax

Times shift a little depending on my days schedule, but for the most part pretty close.

great thread, learning a bunch... im gonna have to take the advice jenetic gave about the vit c. i think i am goin to switch a few things around now. keep posting guys!
 
I won't even touch this one since everyone will just tell me I'm crazy. I NEVER eat carbs pre workout or immediately after.

Preworkout I usually eat 8-10 oz of steak, 600 mg of calcium and 40 iu's of vitamin E, and 1 tbs of ground flax seeds. My post workout drink consist of 3 tbs of ground flax seeds, 2 tbs of olive oil, mixed with diet dr.pepper and 1 a teaspoon of potassium chloride. When i get home I eat more beef and mixed veggies or some natty peanut butter.

So your going for the healthy fat instead of carbs, pre and post? Throwing carbs in outside of 1 hr before and 1 hr after?

No, I only eat carbs once every 4 days or so, and I do not workout during this time, unless its early in the morning prior to carbing up.

Is this pretty much year round or just when dieting?
 
Great info...but what about those of us that pop out of bed at 5Am and workout before work? I only have about 30min when i get up before im in the gym. What I have been doping so far...2trex a cup of coffee...thats it. II guess part of my goal right now is to drop a little b/f.
