As far as the CKD for pro bodybuilders, I can assure you that using a pro bodybuilders diet and only using 500 mg of steroids a week will not work. When you take individuals who are on 5+ grams of test a week, large doses of hgh, and ifg-1 the body's chemistry is very different and many of the anabolic effects of the ckd are greatly diminished. Also the love affair of many pro's with insulin makes using a CKD impossible for bulking. Are far as deiting.... many pro's each junk food pre-contest. They have the genetics to be naturally lean, take a ton of gear (steroids ARE catabolic to adipose tissue), hgh and ifg-1 and stack it with high doses of t3 and clen. They can eat whatever they desire and still get ripped.

With all due respect, let's be fair.

Nobody comes into a contest jacked by eating junk food regardless of how rediculous their AAS dosages are. A scientific explanation is not needed here nor is it applicable. How on earth did you come to this conclusion?

I'm persoanally friends with quiet a few of the top pros and many other people involved in the fitness industry. I run into these guys all the time in Venice and I see them either eating at the gym or at the Firehouse. The last time I noticed, both Tom Prince and Bob Chicherillo were both eating very balanced meals. Aaron Baker was preparing for a contest and his nutritional regime was precise to the minute. BTW, he still consumed carbs. The majority still do before a contest in the appropriate ammounts. Jerome Ferguson was eating oatmeal and egg whites. Actually, I've even had the liberty of running into 2 WWE superstars HHH and William Regal. They were both eating very clean and balanced meals. Also, Christian Boeving is very cautious about saturated fats as he was complaining about the food in France being smothered in butter on one of his modelling jobs out there. I know for a fact that these guys all pay a great deal of attention to their diet year round.

We've all been guilty of cheating and eating like trash every once an a while.

My argument of semantics is valid, because your calories absorbed might be much higher than another on a different diet with a similar caloric intake.

It doesn't stop with the pros bro. We sponsor 6 Amateur bodybuilders going to the Nationals in Dallas in 9 weeks, last year none placed under 3rd, and none of them use CKD while cutting. My point was that you say CKD is the best diet for bodybuilders and I don't know any using it. And it sounds like neither do you. There is no way they can "eat whatever they desire" and come out dry enough to place. But they are all using Glucorell R and diggin' it. I posted a contest prep thread on the women's board by our soon to be national MW Champion. Look at what she uses and her results as she gets ready for Dallas.

Jenetic good points, but I've seen top bodybuilders eating pretty bad preconest as well.

One reason CKD's may work better for me is the large amount of clean fats I take in. I drink extra-virgin olive oil and flax oil like water, grind up flax seeds and put it in everything, snake on nutts all day, and am very liberal with fish oil tabs.

Something in the way of 50% of my calories come from these sources, and I shoot for 1 lbs of raw, or lightly steamed, greens every day, year round.

Ulter, I dont think you and me have really discussed diet over the last couple years, but if you had read the thread started by Satch on here calling me out, I went into diet a little and how I used a CKD diet about 3 years ago, then switched everything up when I began working with an IFBB pro. I agree totally that you are not going to find any top level competitor on stage that used a CKD type diet to get there. Carbs have there place throughout the cutting phase of a diet and even if you look at FitnessChick over at AF, she doesnt really drop her carbs down below 100 until about 2 weeks out.
