My girlfriend has some king of stomachflue and she can't eat or drink, when she does she vomits. She have had this for 2 days now and 10 minutes ago she began vomiting blood. Nothing much but it most sertanly comes from the stomach acid that probably has done some damage. It's to late to go to any doc and I thought it might go away with itself. Please, is this very dangerous or will it heal. What will the doc probably do or give her? I told her to drink water and more water. I'm probably going to stay up all night, just affraid there is a scar developed and lots of blood will go into her stomach and she will get sicker or whatever. I'm very difused right now what to do. We can't get in touch with a doc this late. Please advice

Bro - get thyself and girl into a vehicular transport and get her to the ER now, don't stop to answer here till you get back, go NOW.

Bro I'm a PA-C and in my medical opinion she needs to go to he E.R. There they can at least give her some phenegran or zofran to make her quit vomiting. They can also give her I.V. fluids to help rehydrate her and some I.V. pepcid to help calm her stomach down. Any time you vomit blood can be bad. She may not even have the flu. She may have a bleeding ulcer. Ask her if anybody in her family has a history of having ulcers, but ask her in the car on the way to the E.R. Shoot me a P.M. if you have any more questions.

Dude, that sounds like the first signs of aids:sick: Maybe you and her can get on a medical discussion board and try to nurse her back to health!:FRlol:

That was a shitty attempt at humor.

Alfons, follow the advice you have been given - hit the ER.

Has she been taking and meds? Ibuprofen, tylenol, asprin, etc? If so make sure she stops immediately. There are some nasty bugs going around. I hope she has a quick recovery...

I asked on this board because I had to get a quick response. We have about a 4 hours drive to nearest ER from where we are right now, and with the weather we have today it will probably take another 4 hours to get there, about 8 hours total. The thing is this it's not like the is vomiting all the time all day. She started to vomit because of some food she ate and continued to vomit. I have had almost the same thing, been vomiting until I didn't have anything else to vomit, then started to vomit stomach acid and after a while there was some blood. I just didn't bother about it that much, but this time it's my girlfriend so this time I do care much more.
