Here are some pics from about 3 1/2 weeks ago at the Arnold Classic. My body fat was about 12.5%, I am now at 9.7% :) I have a show at the end of April and I will be competing in the figure class. This is my first show, and I am trying to get a feel for things, training, dieting, posing etc. I plan to do a few shows this year, and I am striving to compete in bodybuilding! I have come a long way! I used to be a skinny runway model weighing 115lbs! I am now 5'10 and 151lbs!! I am young and have plenty of time, I have lots of expectations for myself and I am a perfectionist! Any advice, and constructive criticism is welcome. I am working on a few of my weak areas, like my outer delts and my ham-glute tie in! But I must have patience :)

Wow! You look great. What do you do for diet, cardio, etc? I am also getting ready to compete in my first fitness show and am curious to know if I'm on a reasonable path.

Also, how long did it take you to get your BF down? I'm at 15.5-16% and want to get down to at least 12 for a show in May.

Thanks for all of the replies :) Well lets see my diet......As I get closer to my show it gets a little stricter!! I started about in January, to get lean for the Arnold Classic and for my show in April. I had cheat days in the begining on Saturdays. I didn't go crazy but I would eat pizza, and things I normally do not eat. I also was doing 2 days low carbs under 50 grams, one day high 150-200 grams of carbs. Only eating complex carbs. As of now I am going 5 days very low to no carbs, and 1 day carbs at about 70 grams. So every 5th day I am carbing up. I eat 6-7 meals a day. Basically chicken, tuna and ground turkey. I eat lean red meat 2-3 times a week. I am also taking 4tbsp flax oil with my whey shakes in the AM. I cut out my PM whey shake and I do not eat at least 90 minutes before bed. I eat about every 2 hours and everything is very scheduled, I write down everything I put in my mouth, time, supps, workouts, how much I sleep, bodyfat etc. So I can look back and see where I made changes in my body and what I was doing at that time. I have a dr, and a trainer helping me. Along with a few bodybuilders with posing, diet etc. My diet will change here in the next week or so. My bf dropped about 2.5% in 2 weeks. I am doing HIIT training for cardio. Lifting heavy 3 times a week. Posing has helped harden me and is quite the workout!! Everyone is different so what diet works for me, may not work for you!! My diet has been changed several times to fit me, I have people helping me that know their shit and are monitoring my body. You have to play around with it and see how your body reacts. It takes time, and you have to be consistent, set goals for yourself and keep positive. It is very hard work, and dieting is difficult! I will let you know as the competition gets closer how my bodyfat is and what my diet looks like. Thanks everyone :)
