and what the fuck is the point of eating 450-500 grams of protien a day??? you don't weigh 300+ lbs of raw muscle do you?????

Nice!!!! I consistently hit 500 gm a day. 700+ grams a day is taking it to a whole new level. Are you taking any bromelean or probiotics to help with digestion? I pulled 500 for 5 from below the knees yesterday!!!!

I can easily consume 10K calories a day if I want to. I can freaking eat. The bad thing is as you get older it all turns to fat, even when I work out for 2 hours a day lol
 
i am not going to read all these post .. but isnt that a waste of like half that protein... your body cant not use that much in that short of time like more then 75 percent fo that has to be wasted .. what is the point
 
That is a shot ton of protein. I rarely get that in 2 days. I think you're taking the DC high protein too far bro :)
 
BTW, what the fuck you been eating? That's 2800 cals in protein alone! How many cals u up to total today?

Yep, both. Plenty of fiber too. Thanks for reminding me though...I need to get more bromelain (and I just missed the fucking 25% off sale!)! Oh, and I drank a little over 2 gallons of water yesterday too.

There was a study done many years ago and I wish I could find again. I am sur this is where it came from. It basically stated that a diet high in protien caused Acute Renal Failure. I am totally paraphrasing this. But the study also says it was rtested on people who either had a history of renal failure or thier kidneys sucked hairy peaches.


On a healthy young male/female you will be fine. he is in the medical field and knows what to look for.
 
lol! Some of you are funny. Some people grow like a weed off of 150-200 grams of protein - I don't. There are people out there that can get 34" quads just mowing their lawn - I fuckin wish I did...I'd mow the whole block for free! Why don't you guys figure out what works for you to keep you at 185 lbs, and I'll figure out what works for me to get me to 285 lbs. Carry on.

Do what you're doing man and keep doing it 500 -600 grams for you is just 2 grams per lb of body weight seems reasonable for bodybuilding purposes

A guy at the gym He asked man you have added some major mass in the last few months what are you doing ?
I laid out the diet that I am using on paper for him it was around 4500 calories , 350-400 grams of protien (or 60 -70 grams every 3hrs with complex carb and fat)pretty much average days eating with days that i consumed even more protien and calories

he shook his head and said you're body cant use all that protien and food,
I said "maybe your body can't but my body does"

He looked at me like I was kind of being a ass. I went ahead and ended giving him advice becuase I did not feel like arguing with the dude.



I was thinking to my self ok keep doing what you are doing at a buckfifty and you're xxs ambercrombie tshirts and have a nice life.

To each his own if you eat 500-700grams then thats what you do , you go ceo! Everybody is different everyone has different needs

What people do not get is that muscles are just giant amino acid and glycogen storage units.

You over feed the body protien to keep high levels of protien/aminos in the bloodstream and body so the body is not have to use stored protien aka muscles for fuel.

If a person eat 150grams of protien a day , chances are at some time of the day the body had to use stored aminos in the muscle for fuel , if you ate 300 grams a day , the body has more protien to build muscle and store protien.
If someone ingest 500 grams a day chances are yes some will be wasted BUT the body was full of amino acids all day long and had to get rid of the extra aminos rather then use the aminos from the muscle.

low protien = normal - maintence not trying to build

moderate protien = I want to build muscle but prob wont do that great of a job and will get stuck at a platue from not eating enough s my body continually burns muscle for fuel

High protien = I want to build muscle and reach my goals , i could give a fuck about shitting out a few bucks a day in protien , I could give a shit about all the internt rumors about kidney and renial failure becuase I know no study was ever done with bodybuilders ,if it garantees me I will always have a suppy of amino acids in my body to rebuild my muscle, keep the muscle full of amino's ,and keep my body from breaking down muscle for fuel.

lol...you're better than I am sir! I've tried to explain this before, even to people who want to be bodybuilders, but still get that, "your body can only use xx grams of protein per hour," stuff. So, I just tell people to keep doing what they're doing since they seem to know it all anyway. In a couple of years they still look the same, and I'm 10-15 lbs heavier.

Ronnie Coleman says, "Errybody wanna be a bodybuilder, but don't nobody wanna lift no heavy ass weights!"

The same could be said about eating. Everybody wants to look like a bodybuilder, but they don't...want to/think they can/think they need to...eat like a bodybuilder (a whole lotta food).

i think 700+ grams of protien is pretty much the bare minimum he needs to support all his muscle mass
