that type of fabric is really expensive that is why they cost so much... But this is what I have done... Go search for your own fabric buy it then find a good seamstress they will just charge you for there time.. that is the cheaper route... all my comp suits cost me under 80 bucks

I agree with Courtney , I am in the design business by trade. The secret is to find the "fashion" district in your area to get the fabric. They typically sell the fabric at a nice discount below a retail outlet. What is also nice , is that they will have remnents of expensive fabrics usually at 50-80 % off the regular prices , because they are trying to unload the the last few yards. The real expense is due to the "time" it takes to apply the stones. If you are good with a glue gun , and creative, you can absolutely do this yourself if you take the time. You can find the Swarvoski (best quality) crystals for this application thru jewlery supply houses such as Fire Mountain Gems & Rio Grande. They will run about 12-20 per pack of 10-48 depending on the size.make sure to get the "flat w/foil back"
