No desire to workout

I never train with anyone. I let the people around me be my motivation. When I see someone deadlifting more weight than me I strive to do the same weight or more. It works to. If I really need a spot which is really rare I ask someone most people won't hesitate to spot ya.

training logs are good ideas, don't worry about the way you look, whenever i see someone with a log book it makes me respect them because they're not just in there trying to be "macho", they obviously have a goal and a plan to get there. goals and plans are two very important keys of working out.

I think it's weird that some people worry about looking weird carrying around a log book. I've never worried about that once. In fact, I look at the people without them weird. I was under the impression that log books are standard issue bodybuilding equipment, but I see very few people use them
 
dont you have a power rack at your gym? If not, its probably a commercial gym. Only exercises that need spots are benches,military presses and squats and you can use them all on the power rack, just adjust he safety bars accordingly and your set.
