No carbs post work-out?

Is it best to have a low carb (almost zero) protein shake post work-out or are carbs a good idea? I've read carbs can increase amino acid synthesis?

I've read alot but there seems to be so many differnet opinions on this topic so I thought I'd post this question along with a very basic summary of my training and diet.
I do strength training in the morning and cardio training in the afternoon. I'm also using a weight gain supplement and all my meals are high carb and high protein.

So do carbs specifically post work-out increase muscle recovery and growth, or is my high intake of carbs at every other time of the day sufficient?

Well your body is in need of carbs after your workout which would be the most essential time. Your body just went through hell and wants to some energy to rejuice themselves up. Which why protein and carbs are KO combination

Truth is you can have anything from gummy bears to sour patch kids after your workout for fast carbs and sugars. I preferably just mix my protein with Gatorade. Insulin spike time!

Wen I bulk u have pro and carb(simple and complex 20g each) pwo shake and during a cut I only have protein. But honestly if ur diet isn't any good this won't do shit
