I was wondering how you guys feel about some of the latest supplement products, in particular Clenbutrx(advertised in the latest issue of Oxygen), estrolean (by Pinnacle), and Oxydrene (KleinBeckerSport) advertised in latest muscle and fitness). I am interested in supplementation but I don't want to get ripped off. My concern with the Clenbutrx is the content of ephedra which has been linked to strokes (which do run in my family). I am 5'4" and 120lbs and have around 12%bf. I need a fat burner for someone who isn't fat. I would like to weigh 130lbs with <10%bf. (just in case you have not figured it out, I'm a girl). I already supplement my diet with protein (isopure, no milk) and am looking to add glutamine and creatine. I thought that I would try and add a supplement that will help me cut fat, and I figured that I would need something to prevent me from going into my muscle storage for energy.

Looking for any good advice

Thanks:angel:

Clenbutrx = crap
estrolean = crap
Oxydrene = overpriced crap

there are plenty of fat burners on the market that are ephdra free like metabolic thyrolean from Prolab which is pretty good. Supplementing with glutamine is a good idea for recovery but don't expect to get ripped while using it. If your looking to supplement with creatine and have a little extra cash to spend, i personally like Ribose C from Biotest. You should also look into buying some ZMA. ZMA will definitely help you sleep. The zinc/magnesium formulation in ZMA will replace the deficiencies caused from exercise and stress.

Supplementing your diet with EFA's will help your body lose unwanted bodyfat. I personally like UDO's Choice but when I'm low on cash, Flax Oil does the job.

Hope some of this helps:D

Bro, no offense but at that weight I would be more concerned about bulking up now and putting on size and worry about the fatburning later. I was once very thin so I know the position your in. What I did was eat, eat and eat. I did eat a lot of fat. (I know it is not good for you, but listen). I ate lots of pastas, breads, drank weightgainers, went to BK and Mcdonald's etc. Any time I could get extra caleries I ate. I also added in the protein, creatine, glutamine and multi-vitamin. I was a sucker and did spend money on supps that did not work, but I had to find out for myself. Anyways after you put some size on then you can purchase a fatburner to help you get rid of the fat and maintain the muscle you put on. As far as senergy goes try drinking a couple of cups of coffee during the day before you go to the gym and/or take some vivarin. Good luck bro, hope this helps.
