Need more help with chest

Hey guys I think Needle is right on. The flye works the pecs in isolation so that will make it more sore. Flyes are crucial to pec developement. To help take your "weaker Links" ot of the equation go with a wide grip. For everyone looking for the answer to the bottom portion of their range of motion, it's pretty simple work it! Get a spotter and do 1/4 press than 1/2 press etc. only working the bottom half. Trust. Any of you guys wanna take a look at my post I got very few responses so far just want some opinions. Thanxs hope this helps.:D

Just a quick point: Lifts don't stagnate, it's a weak link not progressing. Like others have said, the fact that the crossovers are making you sore is showing that during your presses your tris and delts are doing a disproportionate amount. I'd actually say to pre-exhaust with the crossovers before hitting the presses.(Don't worry about progression in the presses for a few weeks)

This should help your imbalance.

Belial: do you think i should incorporate more isolation exercises, and ditch the incline (too much shoulder) and sub it with an incline fly?

Blood cable crossovers alway get me real sore too. Another thing that really gets me sore is flat bench dumbbell flies do you ever do them?

No ive always avoided isolation exercises. but now it is finally time to incorporate them by the looks of it.

any suggestions for a new split bros?

I would say so. if your delts are already doing a lot of the work, there's no need to do an incline. Flat bench (Dumbbell, IMO), cable crossovers, and parallel bar dips are probably the way to go. I don't think you need greater isolation per se, but if you're pre-exhausting with the crossovers, the flat bench and dips should finish off your chest and tris. That's basically my chest routine, and it has worked very well. (I was a classic delt bencher)

What's a cable crossover?
You grab the cables on a cable machine
and bring each of your hands in to the opposite shoulder?
Do the cables cross in front of you, or do you
begin by grabbing the cable on the opposite side?
