Hi. I desperately need to increase my weight to build some defenitely bigger muscles. Unfortunately, I am on a tight budget & cannot afford much, I workoutout at home, cannot afford a gym, & I only have currently have 5 & 8 lb. dumbells right now.
I have been told to go out & buy an inexpensive 40 lb. dumbell set to start with, & I can easily buy in the future extra weight plates to add to the dumbells.
Or do you think it's wiser to save up a little money and buy & 100 lb. set, can't afford that right now, trying to save for a new home.
PS: I"m a little frustrated at this: maybe someone can help- when I work my shoulders & biceps which is 2x a week, I get a nice, huge, pump, the muscle is really hard & big- but the next day, you can't even tell I worked it. I'm ticked off because I can see my muscles in the mirror, but in a photo you can't see nothing !!!
When I do up my weight will that big, hard, & full look to my Biceps & shoulders become more permanent, & I'll keep that harder, muscular look ? ?
