With all due respect, I don't understand why you guys keep thinking that you must either "Bulk" or "Cut". You CAN do both at the same time! I have done so myself. It's all about insulin management.
YOu guys are gonna say that stuff where you need a caloric deficit to lose fat and a caloric surplus to gain muscle. It's all hogwash!
You do need a caloric surplus to gain WEIGHT, but not to gain MUSCLE. You can eat high protein and put on muscle while burning calories from fat stores. You need a caloric deficit to lose WEIGHT, but not to lose FAT. You can be burning up calories from fat stores and gaining MUSCLE weight.
wait til he builds a foundation, your body is like a house you dont wanna start building it until you have a good foundation or it will fall apart peice by peice he will not wanna hear that but he will thank you if he heeds our warning, dont rush into anything bro, good things come to those who wait
Asia has a good point here. If you do it correctly you can gain muscle while losing fat. You can change your body composition while basically staying the same weight. It just depends on how much muscle you gain and how much fat you lose. Since muscle weighs more than fat you could actually gain weight while lowering your bodyfat %
