My first ever snatch workout

Decided to try a few snatch pulls today, had never done them before, so I thought I'd give them a try. Loaded up 95 lbs to the bar, took my grip, and the weight FLEW off the ground... decided to try a full snatch. Results? I LOVE snatches now, cant wait to do them again.

All sets PRs, first time doing them.

I need to work on form, I know I can do a LOT more once I get the technique down better, I could have gone up more today, but figured I'd be better off waiting, fatigue and imperfect form aren't a good combo.

Anyways... why didn't anybody tell me these were so much fun?

They're awkward.... but for some reason, after finishing a rep, to me it just feels cool. lol.

oh ok i know what yer talkin about now. snatch cleans are a excersize footballs players use to train their muscle to explode with power. you just snatch the bar off the ground and clean it as quickly as possile, i always thought it was an accident waitin to happen so i never tried em.
