I have been lifting for about the last 3 months now, and have seen some decent gains in size.....but not much, because i havent had the time to cook 6 carefully planned meals, or to pull my car over and consume one of those meals.....basically what i am saying is that i am on the go alot....and i was wondering could i replace 2 of the meals with meal replacement powders or weight gainer and still make out alright? And what are the best weight gainers/MRP's? I see alot of them are kinda high in the Sat fat department or low on carbs....any suggestions? Ohh and another thing, I do cardio like 2x a week, because when i was injured in the Marines and was out of the gym for 2 years, my body fat went from like 11% to around 22% so i have been doing some cardio first thing in the AM to burn some of the fat off....but only 2x a week.....so to simplify this, i was just asking what are some of the better supplements i could get for replacing a meal.....Thank you.....

I've been trying the Labrada Breakfast shake for the last couple weeks and I like but. But, typically I prefer to make up my own shake. Some chocolate whey, peanut butter, and oatmeal mixed together usually does the trick.

I've been using Champion Nutrition's Ultramet MRPs. Decent cals (280), Low fat (3g), Medium carbs (23g only 3g sugar), and medium-high protein (41g) per pack. They're relatively low cost (about 1.33/each), and taste much better than alot of the other MRPs I've tried. Having MRPs in the place of 1 or 2 meals/day shouldn't cause you any trouble. Just make sure you're getting sufficient cals and macronutrients when using meal substitutes.

Alright, yeah i have been looking around for what might be best for me.........i think because i have this miracle gene and i can burn fat off like a wild man and not lose a whole lot of muscle, i am gonna try to throw in 8 more hard weeks of bulking, and then around the end of may lose some calories and do a lil more cardio........Even though i dont like shopping at GNC i did used to work there, and i have 2 weeks left for my 30 percent discount, and they are having a sale, so im gonna check that out tomorrow, i should be able to get some decent prices..........Thanks for your input......

yeh man like you said, watch out for the ones with high sugar and high fat. There are some good ones out there but some bad ones also. Just depends on your goals also.

Yeah man definately.......when i worked there, we would get those days where it seemed like everyone figured out what a rip off GNC is........so i would stand around and read the products, some of those things are shit.......I surf alot, however im not going for that "beach body" look where those idiots just bench press and curl, im looking for usable strength that is gonna help me when im out there for 8 hours. And it doesnt hurt to be big enough where no one wants to mess with you...haha. Thanks for the input.

I thought I heard someone mention they have a MRP in the works that have brown rice as the carbohydrate source rather than maltodextrin? I'd rather prep my own whole food meals ahead of time for now. But I tried a Sportspharma sample pack a while a go and it was pretty good. All MRP are just too thick for me. Once you add enough water to dilute it still just tastes "chalky" I think.
