Okay question time again :)

First of all i changed my workout and increased my cals to add some mass went from 2200 to 2800-3k. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now and im still losing weight. I know some people will say just eat more which is alright but i dont want my metabolism to slow down in a couple of weeks then i start getting excess fat as really i only want to have maintnance cals during my first 5 x 5. So any ideas?

Creatine question. I read a article yesterday saying best time to have creatine is before (obviously) and after workout i never have had any after workout anyone else? Will this be a good benefit?

Last thing (for now) how long before a workout are people eating there last carbs? I normally leave out carbs for about 3 hours before workout and just keep to protein tuna or something then have a pre workout shake. But i have felt a little fatigued during certain lifts so today i had some cerial rolled oats bar about an hour before and i seemed to feel better in the gym is this wise though? if so any more reccomended foods about an hour before workout that maybe better for me?

Anyways

Thanks again

If you eat more your metabolism will not slow down, it will stay exactly where it is, or speed up slightly. As for the creatine question, it depends what type you are taking, if you're taking just a monohydrate powder, definately 5g postworkout, most important time in my opinion.

Thanks bro, so basically im gonna need to eat more (Im waiting for Sarge to say i told you so:)) Creatine im using is PureCee from AF.

Thanks again bro k to you

I try not to eat carbs after 6ish on non training days and not after 8 on training days. I want it to be as lean as possible. With the PureCee i noticed the caps are 0.5grams and after reading around people reccomend around 5mg are creatine after training that would be 10 caps but its reccomended 1 cap per 40lb of body weight thats a max of 4 tabs with my weight any ideas?

Also im struggling to find what foods to eat at the right times now my diet has changed. Example meal plan i have been eating last couple weeks.

Breakfast:

Porridge with semi-skimmed milk
2 Eggs scrambled
Peice of fruit

Snack:

Whey Shake

Lunch:

Chicken Sandwhich Wholemeal Bread lettuce and teaspoon light mayo

Snack:

Tin of Tuna

If workout day i have a oatbar and a peice of fruit about an hour before workout

Pre-workout shake

Post-workout shake with glucose

Dinner:

Jacket Potatoe, grilled peice of chicken cup of beans or some form of sauce

Snack:

2 Scrambled eggs and peice of chicken

Snack:

Whey shake before bed

Macros for this are just under 3000k cals
Protein 49% = 317 grams
Carbs 26% = 183 grams
Fat 25% = 72 grams

Should i up the carbs, where would people reccomend i fit these carbs in to my diet?

Oh one last thing can any reccomend a decent glutamine powder?

Thanks again

I notice you have scrambled eggs 2 times a day, you may want to substitute egg whites on some days, as the egg yolks have a TON of cholesterol in them. Especially noteworthy since you're eating them 2x a day everyday.

Thanks bro, that was just a example most days i only have them once just occasionaly i have them twice. Thanks for the adive though.

One other thing i noticed, your whey shake before bed would be much more benefical to you if it was a cassein based protein. Whey as you prolly know, is into your system in 20 mins. A casein based, takes from 6 to 8 hours to full absorb. So it is much better to take before bed-time, just as whey is optimal right after a workout. You can find very good quality types at www.proteinfactory.com or www.proteincustomizer.com .

CALORIES+(5x5)=MASS

-Calories+(5x5)=just where you left off

It seems as if you metabolism is fine where it is at. You won't get fat just eat. I know guys that eat 1,000 calorie big macs after thier workouts, they have put on serious mass. Buddy, listen to all of us, pack the food tank with all kinds of goodies.

***Put it this way, you should feel sick 24/7 you are eatign so much, shoving food in when you don't want too. This will subside, then you add more food. You think Ronnie coleman likes eating a gallon of eggwhites and a box of Grits a morning, then going and squattign 800pounds? Nope, but if you want muscle you have to eat for it. People under estimate BBers and the grueling eatign patterns...it sucks bulking, for me anyways, I eat 27 hours day...I go through 2 lean cottage cheese cannisters a day before bed...yummy
