we had covid on our island 2 years ago. it was bad. nowhere to hide.

She got hit with covid last Thursday. She's still down. We were hoping it was just a cold but it has progressively gotten worse. Struggling to swallow water let alone food. Not how she wanted her Thanksgiving free meals to go.

She's dropped about 5lbs. Had the 1st set of shots. I'll just say we know it's real but we also believe it is what it is. If your gonna get it you're gonna get it. We're not for or against the vaccine. It canceled our Thanksgiving plans and made me have to scramble to cook at home but it's all good. She's sleeping it off at the moment. Just got to let it run its course.

Made it to the gym 3x this week. Still not 100% but good enough to go. Meeting with her coach tomorrow. He asked her to talk to another one of his clients who is nervous about an upcoming show. After that we are getting next year's plan together so she had dates to work towards.
