every band has "fans" like you... luckily for you, you can put undertow on repeat in your CD player and live out your thrilling life with the same songs over and over.

Tool is hands down the leader in progressive rock. I'd say they kick the ass of any other modern day alternative and metal band as well.

Their time signatures, musicianship, complex melodies, layered song, and unmatched vocals keep them at the top of the rock music game.

Sad thing is I was probably listening to Tool when you still shit your pants so don't even go there. Some bands get better as time goes on, such as Nightwish. Tool is just not one of these bands IMO. I'm not one of those elitist freaks that can't see beyond full length debuts.
