Ummmm, that steroid they discovered in spinach has nothing to do with the iron content. Iron is not why spinach is good for you, but apparently from the googling I just did at your behest...in the past that is why people "assumed" spinach was good for you but than found out that the iron content in green foods is minimal. The chlorophyll content as well as the vitamin and mineral content of spinach is enough to warrant it being eaten, this steroid they found is just icing basically.
