Besides, if you're new to the gym, who cares what you're lifting in your first few months? It means precisely dick.

In my 24 years of lifting I have never ripped on someone for the amount of weight they are able to use ( no matter how strong you are someone else is a hell of a lot stronger) I have told people over the years that they are using incorrect form...but as long as they are using enough weight to struggle with ..who care how much it is...hell when I warm up on squats I start with the empty bar...tell the fag to fuck off next time.,
 
Use the anger, as I was lifting today I saw some guy laughing in the mirror, 99% chance he wasn't laughing at me, but I spent the rest of the workout with his visage in my mind laughing at me, it pissed me off and I used that anger to have a good workout.
 
im more motivated than ever now. the thing is that the people with the biggest mouths are the ones that don't do shit. they just waste space in the gym. im just gonna keep training and getting bigger. i go to the gym to make muscles not friends.
 
Just reading stories like these gets me ready to tear it up and prove people wrong.

just kidding. i use to be the weak puppy in high school.i was on the wrestling team at 140lb, but our wrestling team was a joke, we were not made to workout but i did because i wanted to be huge. so i worked out with all of the football team. now i wasnt in the cool clique in school and to be working when i didnt have to only added fuel to thier fire of ridicule. its really good to see the guys that were the beast and monsters of the football team now. they come home from school during the breaks or holidays, and some have even joined the gym where i train now. the looks i get from them is priceless. i guess adding a hundred lbs in 6 years does that to people. now they still lift thier same lifts or less, and i can bang out 10 to thier 2-3. ahhhhhh.

There are plenty of shit that goes on in the gym that would piss me off. If I paid attention to it all. And I don't have time to. I'm there to train and then get the hell out.

And being a woman, I think I have alot more to complain about than most (if not all) men. But I don't let any of it interfere with the task at hand.

I would say do not let the anger drive you. Just don't waste your energy on such "little" things. And they are. It's more important to hone your focus for your goals and eventual gains. Anger is what is holding those that toil away in the gyms for hours with nary a improvement on their physiques. It's that anger that makes them approach and say that stupid shit when they see the ones that are making a effort and obtaining gains. So, I don't like to "lower myself" to that level. It would not be productive.
 
In high school, I was pretty fat, even though I played football. In our 2 weeks off of lifting for football, I worked out at the World Gym, and I remember a couple of guys making fun of me. I was probably 215 and 20-25% bf, w/ a big waist. I haven't thought about that in a long time. Now, I'm 5'9, 204(as of today) and 12-13% bf, working on 8% or so for summer. Keep at it man, don't let shit get you down. Most of us here wouldn't even be here if we had let it get to us.
