lower tricep and bicep (near joint) too sore while rest is not

in most of my lifts the lower bicep and triceps gets too sore and hurts too much before the rest of the muscle. i feel like %90 of my bicep and tricep didnt get enough training since they arent sore or not much pump. i usually finish set lower weight high rep just to get them pump. my lifts are usually from 5 to 8 reps. if i lower the weight then i go up to 15 so dont want to lower weight. should i rest until it heals fully or any other advice?

nt: it usually happens after bench press .dumbell curl and clean n jerk
 
Sounds like a bit of tendinitis. I've had the same thing and had to totally back off on intensity, just did really light weight for more reps and tried to stop before I could feel it getting sore. You need to rest it otherwise it'll just keep getting sore and inhibiting your workouts.
 
I agree with the tendinitis. You should be lifting lower weight/higher reps on arms anyway. They respond better to that. Take it a little bit easier on upperbody for a week or two and let it heal
