Low carb and LBM gain?

Has anyone tryed a low carb diet when trying to gain LBM? Is it possible with gear? It doesn't have to be a lot of LBM . Maybe a few pounds in 4 weeks, and 5 lbs of fat loss.
 
Ok, it's almost impossible to gain muscle mass while doing CKD or even low carb (or TKD for that matter) - remember no insulin; However, if you do a BODYOPUS (dan duchaine) with some AS, I think you'll do well shedding fat and gaining a bit of mass.

if your endomorph then yes. i was on low calorie and low carb while doing winny/primo and i got some new lbm. now that its been 4 months since cycle its evident i did gain while in caloric starvation
 
I was under the impression dan duchaines diet was the same as CKD. Clear to explain it a bit? And yes I am an endomorph. I am on var at 35mg a day. At this point if I could just drop 5lbs of fat and keep all my muscle I guess that would be good enough. If I drop a little fat then that would be great too.

You say fat loss is very difficult but tren definitely seems to make people drop fat and gain LBM. But this makes sense since cattle are injected with fina and the farmers want Cattle with as little fat and as much LBM as possible (this is kind of scarier however that people are putting this shit made for animals we eat, into their bodies. No wonder theres all the shitty sides.) Var I know is a total different story.
 
Lbm gain is all about callories if you hit your actualy maintenance needs and only out doo them by a few hundred calls you will gain lbm and loose muscle. This has nothing to do with carbs and you would need to hit that magic number which is extremely hard to calculate. Then you could do both. Id stick with 1 at a time.
 
What if you are on CKD or TKD and your calories are above maintainance? I mean one can easily ingest 3000 calories while not eating carbs. (and having dextrose post workout to stimiluate insulin.

Carolic deficit, regardless of your type of diet will not equal mass gain...but caloric surplus on low carb? Why not?

Yes a CKD is the same as BodyOpus. I can vouch that you can gain a substantial amount of LBM on a CKD, while still dropping BF. The most important thing is to carb load correctly. I found that Duchaine's carb load was too long and too many carbs. Shoot for 10-12 g/kg/lbm and you should hit it just right. Also don't exceed 36 hours on the load. It won't benefit you any. In the beginning you must completely eliminate carbs from your diet. After a few weeks when you start dropping into ketosis quickly(I can get in ketosis in 12 hours! And that's w/o insulin!) you can add dextrose after your workout with whey isolate. Also known as a TKD(target keto diet).
 
I've gained LBM on a CKD without gear. It was not an incredible amount, but it was substantial and helped me break through a plateau (5 lbs in about three weeks, then I went back to my normal diet).
