Loosing it

Guys, I need help, motivation I mean

I need to loose my wobble and soon. As ive said before I was on Body for life and it was the greatest thing in the world and it works!!! I lost so much weight and was so happy with myself but I cant help falling back into my old eating habits which include MCdonalds and every sweet on the planet.

My Bf, has a stunning body and trains like mad, hell he gets up at 4am just to go to gym then from there he goes straight to work and only gets home about 7pm, he's always tired but he never seems to loose the motivation to get in shape.

Im going to start my 3rd challenge on the 1st and realy hope I can stick to it, how do you guys do it? Ive done it before but it seems like a cant motivate myself enough this time.

I WANT IT BAD, but realy need the motivation ;-)

Think about all the hot fitness chics your man stares at all day long and drools over and they too love his body...then think about how u look (never saw u, so I cant comment) and then get off your ass and bust your ass and get yourself in shape so your man only wants to look at you and has no reason to sway....

Hope that helps :)

straight and to the point NYM, i love that about you :p

i would say all of that, plus the motivation for me was to take getting lean like a challenge...i was going to do it no matter what anybody said or what my husband did (fortunatly my hubby is a bb), but i REALLY had to want it myself! i am italian and spainish and lots of females in my family are overweight, i would look at their fat butts and faces and told myself that i WILL never look like that...

i think what i am trying to say is that you need to DO IT for yourself...if you dont want it, nothing else will matter....your bf is that way cause he WANTS it, and will not let anything get in the way....take the bull by the horns, and feel the need...everything else will fall into place

HEY NY

A little too much for my imagination to handle:mad:. Actualy I look good in a tank top, im not fat or ugly for that matter (heheh) but i want to be lean and mean with abs to die for, I think thats part of the problem.. although I want a mean body Im not unhappy with the way I am! But I will definately think of your words every time I want to cheat or miss a gym session, I think the visulisation will be enough to moivate me.

Id love the part with him looking at me and only me ;):p :p :p

FYI: Im starting my third BFL Challenge on the 1st, theres an awesome car up for grabs in the SA Challenge (an Alfa 147 yum yum) I can just imagine myself driving it with my hot little body and the jelous looks that will make me smile:D ;)

That is often part of my problem too. Hey - if being HAPPY with my body as it is is a problem, I'm glad for that! :)

Personally, if my bf never looked at other women - I would think something is wrong with him, he's lost his sex drive, & dump his ass fast! ;) Then again, I don't mind when he points out sexy women cuz I'm looking too. Seriously though, men look. They always have, they always will. - as they should IMO (just not too obviously).

Aaanyway - as for motivation, I personally don't like to focus on the visuals as motviation. I don't think I will EVER look like most women in magazines because THEY don't even look like that!!! (Perfect lighting, body makeup, air-brushing, etc.)

I focus on how crappy I feel when I cheat on my diet & the rare times I skip the gym & get lazy versus how energized & generally great clean food & hard workouts make me feel. Plus, of course, the awesome satisfaction & sense of achievement that comes from setting a tough goal & achieving it.

I'm four weeks out from contest, and after dieting this long, it gets really tempting to just say screw it. You just have to make up your mind you can beat the challenge (competition, body for life, whatever it is), and then QUIT THINKING ABOUT IT! Like the Nike ad says, just do it. Quit thinking about how much it sucks to diet, or how tired you are and how much you'd rather go home and chill than go to the gym. The more you think about it, the worse it gets. You just have to go on autopilot and FOCUS ON THE REWARDS, BABY! It's all worth it in the end; even if the end is just a picture to show your kids someday. :-)

Keep a diet/workout log, plan your day in advance, and stick it. And be proud of yourself for every day you do. Just think how few people out there have the discipline and drive to do what you're doing.

I've read somewhere that it takes 6 months to change and make something a habit. I totally agree with that !
I use to dread going on a diet and kept fighting with cravings and being in a bad mood all the time...
But now I feel much better if I'm following my diet and don't carb-up or eat junk. I use to cheat a lot on my diets, especially on the weekends, but now I don't need a whole day to cheat, I only need a meal and maybe some candy to be satisfied and don't have a problem going back to my diet the next day.

So...what I'm trying to say here...You need to change your life and keep at it. Don't give up ! It really gets easier after a while. The preparing food and stuff is part of my daily routine now and it's just the way I like and want it to be.
The only diffrence now from the beginning of my diet is that I'm much more lazy and almost only eat veggies that I don't have to cook much like red pepper and cucumber.

NF

Thanks

My BFL challenge #2 ended yesterday but for the week that Im off before I start my 3rd challenge Im gonna try hard hard hard not to eat crap!

If it's a lifestyle change, how do you get a "week off?"

Yes Spats it is, but all Im doing is taking a short break before my Next CHALLENGE!

Its 3 month (84 days) program and you should follow it throught your life. Before I embark on another 3months (CHALLENGE) Im taking a short break from training (more than anything) so that I can start my 3rd challenge next monday fresh and ready!!!

OH!! I see...

Good luck! What's the goal for the next challenge?

Thanks ;) :D

My goal for the next 12 weeks is to loose another 7 - 9KG and 7-9% body fat. My muscles are there but I just want to make them more ripped and sexier.

Acctualy, I dont care much about how much a weigh (its just a goal ive set) but I just want to look in the mirror and smile, make the men drool and the women envious!!! :D

:D
