Is L-Carnitine any good for this? i'm not at a weight loss plateau but i fear hitting one someday and i want some lipolysis drugs i can take to help me get beyond it.

I've noticed the ingredients of Liporexin are Acetyl-l-Carnitine, green tea, a vitamin B complex, DMAE, Acetyl-l-Tyrosine, Capsicum, etc.

Of these i'm only interested in the lipolysis agents. i already know about green tea and don't want any stimulants so DMAE & Acetyl-l-Tyrosine are out.

Well, carnitine is an amino acid that transports fatty acids to the mitochondria of the cell to be used during oxidative metabolism. Basically, yes, you need it to make sure those fats are being burned correctly.
Good luck

L-carnite did diddly for me (was taking ALA at the time and attribute it all to that), it costs a lot (i got it on sale:) ) and you have to take +3g for even minor effects

acetyl-l-carnitine has been shown to increase mitochondrial oxidation so that could work, my ALA had some of this in it

i was cutting at the time though...i would probably shoot for the ALA as that seemed to help the most
capiscum might raise your BMR, im not aware of its pharmacological action but its the same stiff in chilli's and they make me sweat :D (methodical scientific thinkning here :D)

ALA/r-ALA (900mgs-1500mg's/400-600mg's)
CLA (12+g's - can run a pretty cost)
GLA (5g's)
vit B complex - raises metabolic rate, responsible for metabolisys of fats/carbs (b12)

these are off the top of my head, might be more, i'll have to get back to ya
