Just curious why would you perform so many reps with the clean? Is this the protocol that your coach wants you to follow? I know that lacrosse demands endurance but you also need power and strength. I've seen repping out on bench for 20 something reps to gauge strength and strength endurance but not the squat and especially not the clean. Also, how long haveyou been training.

with the exception of myself no one on the team did an in season lifting and he felt that by testing us with a light weight to failure he can calculate our 1 rm without a greater risk of injury, or atleast thats what i think.

I was sick for two months and have about 3 weeks under my belt. Before that was november to february. I have a hard time lifting in season and this was the first time i really did it.
