the calorie counters on the heart rate monitors? I have a Polar, and I've worn mine for most of today. Dare I believe I burned all these calories?

well......what did it say??

look online and plug your weight into a foprmula, pick activities and see

Ok this is what it said:

Total Exercise Time: 8 hrs 30 minutes
Calories: 1417

I spent 1 hr 3 min in my zone, which I have set to 65-75% of my max heart rate.

I did some walking, weight training, 15 min of HIIT on treadmill, and a little running around like a chicken with no head at work. The rest of that time was spent bsing, cooking, cleaning, and working on a product for my side business.

Hey Necia!! I was wondering the same thing sometimes cuz when I walk to the gym, lift & walk home -- even walking beside Amtrak lines (which interfere with my monitor so there's no reading) I still get a 400-500 cal reading....

I usually plug my activities into fiday.com, but according to fitday I burn over 2,000 cals a day & I selected "dead" as my daily activity....

Jens,
Thanks so much for making me choke on my water. Don't you know I'm trying to finish this last bit so I can have a gallon chugged down? I sure wish I had my hrm on now, so I could've seen how that would've affected it!

seems reasonable.....

take bodyweight...divide by 2.2 and multiply by 24 and then .9

Fitday.com does seem to be excessive in its calorie burning part..... I should be about 90lbs according to fitday.... LOL
