JH1 loves him some HST training.... at least when I running without Juicey Juice... but how about on the gear?

I have done 2 hst cycles seperated with a strength cycle and a 5X5 cycle. Lots of thickness gained. 7 lbs or so each HST cycle i believe. Been A while since my last though.

Did you gain more on the HST or the 5x5? (while on juice)

On your HST cycles... Did you skip over the 15 rep week and start with 10 rep?

I am completely clean. I never have done any anabolics or hormone boosters....yet. ha.

I did do the 15s. I actually enjoyed them. I seemed to put on a good 3 pounds or so during that phase. And vascularity sckyrocketed during that time. My roommates also did HST. They enjoyed the 15s too. It can be quite the challenge though during the last few days.

I did an upper lower HST split though my second go around. The first time was MWF though.

J, here's a link to my HST journal from Fall '03. I logged an entire HST cycle. Worked well for me, and yes I was totally natty.
