at the end of the day you have to make a choice and be true to it. imo starting a relationship while in another is a recipe for disaster, since youre building a foundation in deceit.

I've got 3 semesters to go and then hopefully my Masters. Plus most of the stuff I've been learning hasn't been anywhere NEAR anything about counseling. Most of it is the more technical aspects.

Anyway, yeah, I'm worried about the whole long term thing with this chick, that's why I think it's best to break it off and fix my relationship.

i would recommend the counselling if someone good was recommended and not just a random page or someone looking to pad his/her billing.

But, my 2 cents worth is that you want to leave but you feel obligated to stay cause it's the "right thing to do". Don't confess, just move on with your kid, or pay support and take them on weekends, or whatever. Just expect that you can't go back.... and don't expect the new thang to work out either.
If you knew yourself you wouldn't need advice on this.
