Ok. I dance. So I know first hand that a guy going in there isn't going to get anything other than what he pays for--a dance or whatever. NO dancer is going to think he is cute, try to talk to him, or give him her # so they can go out or anything like that. Well, most. We really don't care about they guys.
With that said, I let my b/f go....but he never wants to go by himself!!! He is shy in that aspect.....so I will go with him and if he's lucky I'll even buy him a dance. We have a really good time, I'm happy, he's happy, the dancer's happy. End of story. It's about trust and maturity.

Sorry, no offense, but I don't know what club in Houston you dance at, but as a fellow Houstonian - practically every guy I know has been able to get anything he wants at those clubs and every stripper I know, which is just about every other apartment in Houston - will do anything as long as a guy flashes a little bit of money at her. So saying the girls (not saying you...) won't try and talk to him or give him their number is a bunch of bullshit. One friend of ours goes to strip clubs all the time and gets phone number after phone number and takes girl after girl home. Hand jobs/bjs you name it, it happens in Houston at the majority of the clubs. You might be a "trustworthy" dancer,,, but most are not respectable.

Actually, I'm not too fond of strip clubs... I take a look at the guys that hang out there, and they are 40 year old fat bastards... it makes me feel a little uncomfortable...

Besides, I can think of 100 places I'd rather be... ONE in particular....

A good strip club is one of the greatest forms of entertainment around, kind of like Disneyland for adults. There is one I've been to in Hawaii a few times that is best described as "all-nude, full contact." Wow have I seen some great stuff in there! One night two guys came in with their g/fs and ended up seated ringside. At one point a lovely Hawaiin stripper was giving them the up close & personal and ended up with one female customer sucking on each nipple! The group soon disappeared into the back room for a private show Another girl let us do the "helicopter" move. We would fold up our dollar bills, put them through her nipple ring, wind them up until she said "stop," them let 'em fly!

Although they are fun to visit, I wouldn't want my wife performing. Its kind of like the guys who collect the garbage at my curb every week - what a wonderful service to society, but I wouldn't want to see my wife driving the truck every Thursday!

ummm...sorry alex - but I have to disagree w/you...that may be the case w/you and some of your friends, but that is definately NOT the case for others
my husband has gone into a strip club - not spent a dime on the girl and taken her home that night and fucked her(before we met of course ,,,,friend of mine met his current g/f in a strip bar....another girl I know stripped until she met her current "sugar daddy" in the strip bar...I could go on and on about similar situations...Im not saying that this type of behavior includes all strippers and Im not saying that they are less than b/c of this - Im only saying that IT DOES HAPPEN - OFTEN!
If your man is gonna cheat - it wont matter if he's in the strip bar or at church...so quit worrying yourself about it - if you dont trust him than find one you can trust

There you go. I think they're 2 categories of strippers. The professional ones: they will sometimes get laid with some clients, they're actually whores by definition. Then you have those "I'm dancing cause I need money to pay my tuition": usually they wont give a shit about the clients. They think the guys hanging there are pigs with no respect. They dont even like there job, but ya know money sometimes......

I believe that this is true, because I do see it happen...but NOT as often as if , say he were at a regular bar...
