I found a nice little read on it....I am interested in adding this to my list of Glucose disposal agents......Think its Worth it?
I have seen it in other glucose stabilizing formulas before but never gave it much thought.

Gymnema Syvestre and the low carb diet

Gymnema Sylvestre, or Ram’s Horn, has been used for almost two thousand years to treat diabetes. It has been shown to stabilize blood sugar without triggering the hypoglycemic levels that many treatments can cause.

When you consider that it is also a diuretic, you can see that it is beneficial to anyone on a low carbohydrate diet.
Our bodies easily convert carbohydrates into glucose, which is a “quick fuel”. A low carb diet seeks to force the body to burn fat as fuel instead; fat burns slower than carbs, so we can sometimes feel a bit fatigued or even light-headed due to a lower blood sugar level.

Gymnema helps the body maintain a more constant level, resulting in better endurance, which can be beneficial if an exercise program is part of the weight loss plan. In addition, it is far easier to stick to a diet plan, psychologically, when one feels well than when one is overly tired.

Add in that Gymnema has a diuretic effect, which helps counter-act the water weight gain that often accompanies a low carb diet, and you can easily see that this is an ingredient you will want to include in your regimen.

It's a great nutrient partner supplement that isn't very common. It's one of the key ingredients in N2slin. https://www.needtobuildmuscle.com/store/Need2Slin-p50.html

I use N2slin before every meal of the day I eat that eats a significant amount of carbohydrate. Nutrient partitioner supplements DO work. They increase muscle insulin sensitivity of muscle cells and help shuttle the food you eat into muscle cells and away from fat cells.

Gynemma is one of the few things that really works. I have actually tested this with a glucometer and it will lower your blood sugar significantly. I use it in 2 specific situations. One to enter ketosis more quickly coming off a carb load or refeed and 2 when Im running slin on off times to prevent the development of insulin resistance. NOT WITH SLIN. I dont want someone making that mistake. When Im using slin and start to develop insulin resistance i take time off the slin and run this sup. Now I have not run slin in quite some time (years now) but I will say this is one supplement that actually does work. Gynemma Sylvestre actually works very well as a GDA
