Instead of AAS, could one do an HCG cycle?

HCG will make the testies produce more testosterone but like any other thing your body will adjust for the increase and decrease your won production.....in other words your body will lower LH to stop test production. So you will get shut down in the long term use from the pituitary. I guess that if you use smaller dosages it will be ok for 8 weeks but you will not have the big surge in testosterone though...and recovery from HCG is just as hard as from AAS in some cases.

Thank you, that's what I was looking for.

i was wondering the same thing about hmg. i don't really go below 500mg a week though, just curious about maybe using it as a sort of bridge but not really if you know what i'm saying. like using it every few weeks or something like that. just a thought i had. anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, does anybody know the answer to this one?

Some of the more conservative TRT guys do HCG "cycles". I'm not sure of why or the details. A friend of mine is 42 and started a program about a year ago. He gets a very low dose of cypionate (i.e. 100 mg every ten days) for 10+ weeks, but then does mini cycles (one to two weeks long) of HCG on top of his test shots.

I'm guessing HCG "cycles" are more for us old guys just trying to hold ground. Its not really for young guys looking to do stronger cycles.

Oh, and HCG cycles can suppress or shut you down. No question about it.
