lol @ needy. I can understand that. I don't think it's needy to say what you want in a relationship though, and then be willing to bail and find it elsewhere if you don't get it. I don't think this guy is being needy at all. People have preferences. I don't want a girl around me every damn day either, but I am getting to a point I wouldn't mind pretty regular contact with one. Like daily talking might be nice. I tell her I want that and if I don't get it, I stop turning down other options. Go to the next girl, same thing, decide if it clicks for you. I tried this and it feels like each new girl I date I like more than the last one and am like "What was I even thinking considering that? THIS girl is more on my page."
I guess if you're an atheist you probably wouldn't go for a jesus-freak on purpose. Just like if you want sex 7 days a week, you might not want to date someone who only wants it 7 times a year. There is a line to draw to figure out when the compromise should be coming in, but that is personal for everyone and depends largely on what the person's options are.
