....for example like a plane crash or broken down in the middle of no where, or lost your way during a hike somewhere like the jungle, mountains, or desert, DO YOU HONESTLY THINK YOU COULD SURVIVE FOR MORE THAN A WEEK IF NO ONE CAME TO RESCUE YOU??

I know I could, ONLY because I have been through 2 different survival courses when I was in the military.

I think it's someting everyone should seriously think about.

Like heatherrae, i watch Discovery channel and there is a show called, "I shouldn't be alive", and it absolutely amazes me how many people get themselves into survival situations and make the dumbest mistakes.

I guess I think they're stupid decisions because of the training I've had, but it just seems like they're ignoring basic common sense.

have you seen "Man vs. Wild"? similar show, but the guys name is Bear Grills or something like that and he brings a camera crew along with him. He's a bit melo-dramatic, but entertaining none the less.
