I see nothing wrong with an almost exclusive liquid diet for max fat loss

here is what I am doing and its working, and it was my final reacation to my fluctuations in weight I have oscillated between 245-290 in the past 2 years

I can put on musle quit easy but fat too, and yes each time a grew I havd my BF measure by the hyrdostatic method so I know each time a grew I added on signifigant muscle

any way here is what I am doing:

and I have never felt better

the day goes like this all the time look and see this is not easy by any means but its working:

4 meals are all liquid and one Solid at night and the above supps are used like this:

1) 3 scoops of Whey, 1 scoop of Gplenish 1 table spoon of flax or PB and one or two Thermorexins

2, 3, and 4 are the same

the Thermorexin keeps the appetite at bay, but at the same time the Gplenish with Whey keeps all the muscle tight and full as hell

at night I have a huge Protin and vegitable meal and go to bed when I wake up every morning I am a little bigger and a little leaner and it s noticable

I posted this cus I really believe in it not to mention is supoer conveniant

also I put a half cup of dry oats in each drink for the fiber

I'd be absolutely starving on that diet.

Also whey protein is giving you a quick shot of aminos. A longer acting protein would be much better- especially the way you're using it.

I wonder about digestive enzymes in this situation. There has to be something wrong with an almost totally liquid diet. This is what I want to see: A company that makes different drinks for every part of the day. One does not need to worry about the time of food prep or sitting down to eat. One could just pound a premade drink in 30 seconds 7 times a day. That would be awesome. I think it should be done. Half the battle of an athlete eating well is the sacrifice one has to make to dedicate to food prep.

thanks Lift Chief Casein is in order then, I was hoping the fat in the PB and the fiber in the oats would delay things

Speedy the big meal at night seem to make up for it

that meal is usually 1 lb or 1.5 lbs on lean red meat with lots of fiber from fiberous vegitables

it funny how my metablosom is spead up cus everymorning

I have a tiny cup of coffee to wahs down the thermorexin and I deposit the kids in the pool like clock work

thsi diet seems nuts buts it a modified fast and not meant to be pretty, but its also meant to spare max muscle

Currently I have different protein mixtures for various parts of the day. Egg white protein for morning. A Daytime protein. A post workout hydrolyzed whey for post work out and a casein based nightime protein before I go to bed. It helps with the time factor in food prep "big time".

if you make homemade MRPs with oats, flax, peanut butter etc
you're still getting real food for the most part. its great and ive had alot of success doing this while cutting and bulking

thanks what did your look like?

also I know a competitve body builder or two that did this

it also helped decease waiste size

Im in the same boat... I put muscle on very easily but gain fat also... I dont think I can take a liquid diet and it may also be the reason your weight yo-yo's +/- 45 pounds. You just have to get a solid diet down and stick to it. I stay away from "bulking" cycles and since you are in the same boat I am you may want to do the same thing. Just eat clean and watch your calories.

thats very interesting,I may not goto that extreme but im cutting now and certainly having half of my meals liquid would be nice

how many carbs are in your shakes? or is there a good way to add carbs? low carb kills me

good points and logical

part of me likes the mental aspect of doing it for discipline, and in a way I think short term it actually may be healthy for you

I see a potential lack of fiber. What I do is add a spoonful of Metamucil to my last glass of water before bedtime. That's an easy 20-30 grams of fiber right there.

That is interesting...never thought of doing that. Good idea. :)

Omega....props to you for being able to follow that diet. I couldn't do it. I like chewing and eating food way too much to be on a liquid diet! :chomp: Hope your results are awesome!

thanks

I really do like the mental part when dieting like this its a crash test in seeing how disciplined one can be

I did the same thing last year when I was behind in my cardio and was traing for a show. I did
MRP at 7:30am
Protein shake 10
MRP at noon
Protein shake 3pm
Solid food dinner usualyy all meat or fish.

I thought that I would lose more muscle then I did and once I got past the first 2 weeks it wasn't even hard to stay on. I went from 240 17%bf to 217 10%bf...obviously I didn't do the show because of not getting down in time but I now know that this diet style will work for me.

HalfaClue thanks for sharing that :)

how long did it take you to drop that weight?

also I must note that I always workout first thing at dawn

so I seem to have energy from the sleep and previuos solid foos meal the night before.....

a tiny cup of coffe accopanied by the Thermo gets me going

I must note that I don't I could sustain the quality of the workouts if I were to workout midday or PM with this diet

I dropped the weight over 2 months. I worked out in the afternoon with the exception of some cardio in the morning. I wasn't having trouble lifting until about the hour mark and then I would drag. It was easy enough to get alot of sleep though.

I dieted last year with a liquid type diet. I lost close to 50 pounds in 4 months. I really didn't plan on doing it almost all liquid, but, I hate to admit it, I got lazy and ended up eating a shake 4 maybe 5 times per day. I ate 1 maybe 2 solid meals per day...fruit, oats, egg whites, but, not much else. I did prop, winny and tren . I maintained my muscle quite well. When I was finished people actually thought I looked bigger at 205lbs. than when I started at 248lbs.

With that diet, I would make sure that my first meal would be three or four eggs, psyllium husk, and a bunch of green veggies.

Why don't you all check out Mr X's diet the All Natural Peanut Butter Diet... I dont know if he got in trouble on this board, but I think he had a fallingout with the old Mass Monsters, as well as Hugh from scien did too... anyways you can check it out if you are interested

:(

well this will be a good opportunity to see what it really does for you

I ran out for 3weeks once and around day 4 I began missing it alot.....

right now I am takign it with creatine....wholy shit

any way good to see you :)

I do

3 huge table spoons Gplenish

and two very small teaspoons of Creatine

going over would be fine

but but not nec in my opinion
