I need your opinion

I am somewhat new to weight lifting. I really admire how female bodybuilders look and dream of looking like that one day.
I am trying to decide where I should start. I workout with my husband so he can spot me and make sure I have good form.

I trying to decide if I should go with the body for life plan.
The other option would be this:
mon- chest and tri's, shoulders
wed -back and biceps
fri- legs and abs
tues thurs sat- cardio (20 min high intensity)
2 exercises per bodypart. 3 sets of 8

I am 5'7 160 and probably around 24% bodyfat. Having extra weight is why I was thinking of doing BFL. But I am wanting to build alot of muscle too.
Which option do you think will give me the best results?

As for the diet, I am willing to count calories and all that. I really will do whatever it takes, I just need to know what to do.

een kilo is 2.2046 pound? I must weigh more then i thought in pounds! With that i see i wiegh 206 and not 202.

wannabe listen to spatterson. She is a truly a bodybuilding scientist. Always researching and experienting and ready to learn from others. Thorough and complete with all her information. I have not ever read a post of hers where she gave bad training or diet advice.

Forget BFL, try SFL. :D

Yes, forget Body For Life. Spatts For Life is the way to go.

I'd disregard anything you read in a magazine first off, then just listen in here and ask questions.

Now that sounds like a life worth living....

:)

I'm no scientist. I'm like an information broker. I read everything I can get my hands on, and then regurgitate the information on the boards. I'm totally unoriginal.

not true. Most work scientists do is based on others work. Most just go farther with it. They read and experiment, like you. I found finally what regurgitate means and that does not happen either. You analyze what you read and make it your own.

Wannabe do not listen to spattersons last post. she is also modest. I have lifted seriously for 16 years now and i learn from her too.
