Hey fellas, I need some videos of barbell rows. I remember seeing vids of CCJ and clint doing them a while ago, i don't know why i didn't save them though.

Anyone still have those? Or others?

Just how taxing are these on the lower back? I've been doing heavy db rows but i think its time to switch up.

as always, CoolCol to the rescue! but yo t3c, try em with an underhand grip too to hit the biceps really nicely...

underhand style can be hard on the wrists though for some like me.

also if you do them narrow, like hand on the smooth area - they are way harder! But hits your back a lot better too, greater ROM.

I think its becuase the elbows move outward rather than in a straight line.

You will have to drop the poundage too I found :)

Depends on your goals.

I've found a mid grip underhand works best for me. I also use straps on my working sets. By using straps, i can focus solely on pulling the weight with my back and take the biceps and forearms out of the equation.

I also bend to nearly 90 degrees so that my body is almost parallel to the floor. You see alot of people open the angle up which essentially makes the movement a trap/lat exercise exercise.

vinyl, didnt you just say in another post..why would you want to isolate the traps??? but you use straps to isolate your back, and take the biceps and forearms out??
