I need help with a strict CKD

So unfortunately the kind of food in this house just isn't the type of food for a CKD. I thought I could find a way around that, but when I realized I would be on this for months, it seems impossible for me to do.

I don't know what I'm going to do, my metabolism is too poor to normally lose weight, but I can't do a CKD either. Any suggestions?

based on your stats i'm guessing you are an endomorph and most likely insulin resistant. This often is the case when someone thinks they have a "slow metabolism". This is often caused by years of eating too much sugar and processed carbs.

Your top priority is controlling insulin spikes. This is done by eating absolutely no sugar or processed carbs. Its best to do some research to figure out what these entail. Many many things you eat might contain these without you realizing it.

A ketogenic diet would be good for you because by default no carbs would be in the diet, much less sugar and processed carbs.

See my thread on the commandments of clean eating. That would be the best place to start.
