training for strength vs. bodybuilding

I’m looking for some advice when it comes to training for strength versus bodybuilding
can you give me some tips on doing that
from what I gather if you want to train for strength you need to do lower repetition and high weights and if you want to train more for a bodybuilding you do the opposite you go higher repetition and lower weight
is this cliché going to work in most situations or is it just a cliche

some people are more destined to be power lifters and some will do better as bodybuilders that's a fact

powerlifting is completely different a lot of it is technique and momentum

you can mix in both compound and isolation lifts no matter what your goals are that's what people do

in either situation building consistency is very important

Hello, new to the group. Does anyone know where I can get this old training program (workout guide) from an old George Spellwin's Ultimate Physique Recomposition Phase 1 and 2? I did this program back in 2000 and it worked! trying to get my hands on the actual workout plan.
Thanks in advance.
here is the link I had, but no longer exists: https://www.elitefitness.com/articles/ultimate/training.shtml
