i only have 1 day availible to go hit the weights.

thanks to my wonderful gym closing down without notice for 1 week ive alrerady missed one leg day and had a horrible back workout at my uni gym.

what bodyparts do you sugest i hit when i go to the gym this week to try and keep the samll amounts of muscles ive put on. im 'cutting' right now so im afraid i might lose a lot of muscle, but i dont have a choice about the cardio thing. seeing as i missed leg day last week do ya think i should just do legs, or throw in other parts as well?

the cardio will envolve lots of push-ups, squats without weight etc.

any help would be much appreciated:)

since its only one week, im you should be okay just doing pushups, situps, and a lot of running, and maybe some pullups if you have access to a bar. thats a fairly good all around workout.

May be a good time to consider taking a week of from lifting, especially if you've been going hard for a while.

But if you need to keep lifting, I wouldn't worry too much about losing muscle in a week, as long as you can do some maintenance in the meantime. At the same time, if you're concerned about muscle loss, I'd keep the cardio to a minimum and eat clean.

Another idea is to go to another gym and see if they'll give you a trial week/2-week membership.

no i havent been going hard for a long time, and i consider this week a week off even though ive only been twic only 1 day was 'intense' enough

ive got to prepare for a kung-fu grading (getting a belt) which requires me to showup to class. these things are real sweat producing workouts which last 1 and a half hours

i do have access to the uni gym but im concerned ill fatigue my muscles so when i do my grading im so damn sore i cant break boards/look good when i kick and shit :) plus my uni gym sucks ass.

what i might try and do is try an all body work out (ala HIT) for 1 day only and hope my muslces recover after all the kung-fu days in time for my grading. i really gotta pass this one:)

thanx for the replies guys :)
