I have gained ..

about 7.5 lbs in three months, I know is not too much but I have been dieting for only 15 days and my gains are clean (at least I think so). I am a real hard gainer, I am chugging x21-24 my body weight ... I cannot go further, it is too much food for me ... :worried:
What do you think? Am I doing ok?
Btw, I am training like a moffffo, 15-18 sets per muscular group +2hs per day (not counting abs routine) and sometimes I feel like I want more. Don’t know why.

Thanks for advice or whatever.
Cheers

That's good. Any progress deserves recognition man. It might not be much, but as long as you're further along than you were yesterday, then props to you.

Are you new to lifting, or relatively so?
Might wanna try cutting down the volume. You don't need that many sets to make a muscle grow. At least try some moderate volume. Something like 4-6 sets. Not 15-18 man. Use higher frequency, less volume.

21-24x bodyweight is more than enough. I eat 21 on my training days, and 18 on my non. It gives me a break from all the food on my off days.

I am kindda new on this, 3 months now. I trained for 8 month, about 7 years ago but I didn't know that dieting and resting was important at all.

What do you mean with higher frequency/less volume? Going more frequently to the gym and do shorter sessions?

Doing 15-18 sets is going to spoil my gains? Because, damn, I like hitting the iron. If I go for a 4-6 set I will feel that it's not enough ...

I am 27, 128 lbs (today) - 5'9" - lean (I can see veins running all over my body).
14.8 arms
41 chest
30 waist
19 legs (chiiiiiiiiicken legs) I squad until I feel dizzy though :worried:

I come from a year where I lost fat, muscles, everything. So now it's like starting from zero.

Thanks for the suggestions dude.
bdw, my diet is inspired in yours !! You posted it like 15-20 days ago ..

Oh yeah? Haha, goodshit. Glad my diet could help someone else. I find it pretty easy to follow. Choking down some of the food can be a pain sometimes, but I get it done. I just tell myself if I can go and deadlift and squat heavy three times a week, then I can certainly eat some oatmeal.

It's funny because the other day you posted something about your diet and I posted right back, "yea, I do the same" ... Then I realized that I had copied most of it ... Ofcourse "I do the same" :verygood:

I'm in the same boat as you luciano. I was also overweight, and now down to 122lbs, only 5'7". I really need to gain some mass, and any help would do. I currently am only 16 years old and I work on a farm 30 hours per week and lift for 1 hour 4 days a week. The farm work is really keeping me from gaining. How many calories (CAL PER LB of Body weight) should i get according to all this. Thanx man.
