SFArugger said:
Im currently on AIFM after coming off my last cycle. And yes I do lift alot that isnt the problem. its just frustrating being at the weight I want but not looking like I want in the mirror. Ill try and post a pic later today
ok...what was your last cycle? did you use proper pct? and post your diet...like poysyn said that's 90% of it!! i've seen lots of people that think they have good diets and then when other's start taking a look they figure out that "on point" diet sucked.

happens to everyone, even people that know better :p .

(even healthy snacks still have calories and its easy to lose track :) )

ie. when your maintanance diet turns out to be over 6000 cals, you realize those cashews calories add up :p

a little analysis, perhaps outside critique, can go a long way.

Although losing weight will help his chest fat to drop, will the imbalance ever be corrected though?

The imbalance of having more fat in one area than the other looks funny no matter how lean someone is.

Where you store fat is based on your genetics. You can't change where you store fat, so you just have to learn to deal with and do the best you can to compensate

What are you talking about?

what imbalance?

The ways peoples bodies distribute fat can't be manipulated, even with massive amounts of drugs. The fat will come off in the most stubborn places last. Drugs could help keep it off and stay leaner longer but not re-distributed.

yeah. what about that whole yohimburn stuff? does that actually work? Or I suppose there is some type of lipo for the desperate.

sometimes its a tough call though. like wouldnt someone want to have a really veiny and detailed neck, just so that their chest could be lean? these things gotta be taken into consideration. for a bodybuilding contest, sure, make everything lean. but for life, its different.

I know that genes cant me manipulated yet. But I'm saying that I'm not sure if getting leaner will necessarily solve the problem, because that area will always stand out as having more fat than the rest of your body. its a comparison. its not like everyone's body fat will measure 3 mm all over their body when they lean out. in some areas it will be thicker than others, no matter how lean one gets.

Yohimburn CAN help, but it won't just melt the fat off of a certain area of the body. It can make it more prone to fat loss, but there are no guarantees with anything. Getting leaner WILL help with the problem as once the individual becomes leaner in different areas it will start to come off more and more from the tougher areas to get rid of.

this is not entirely true. you cant change the genetic portion, however you can adjust endogenous factors like estrogen which does affect fat storage and distribution. Insulin and insulin sensitivity can be adjusted.

eg. when you drink alcohol and get fat from it there is the "beer belly", this phenomenon is due to insulin blunting (and usually carb loading and excess cals). Improving insulin senstivity and metabolism will help you lose this fat faster and be less likely to store it there when you overeat in the future-- you wont get fat the same way (as long as you maintain good insulin sensitivity and response.) same habits and same diet, however will cause the same problems (this can be mitigated as well, through supps and cardio- though its merely mitigation)

same goes for estrogenic fat (now this may mean constant low dose suppression of estrogen, but it is certainly possible)...

you can even affect the genetic predispositions (though it is true that you generally cannot entirely overcome them...yet).... gene therapy is a reality, its not here for the public yet (and probably wont be for some time to come... but its coming)

You want to also make sure it is not glandular tissue. IF you squeeze and feel a lump there, you wont be able to lose that via exercise or dieting. If that is the case or if it is just TOO stubborn, you have two options:

1. Cut it out
2. Get very big as to not make it as apparent.

Good luck!
